Toxic positivity, body image issues, and the second wave of Covid19: Here's what's trending on ScrollStack this week

"Why is it that we look to unnaturally slim role models for motivation? Why don’t we aim to be a healthier version of our present selves?" These are the questions Surabhi Jain, who is among the top creators this week, poses to the readers in her post titled Is The Body An “Issue.”
Rishi Kumar Singh, who runs Sansadnama on ScrollStack, interrogated the Indian Central government's lack of preparedness for the second wave of Covid19: "क्या कोरोना महामारी की दूसरी लहर वाकई बिना सूचना दिए आ गई? या केंद्र सरकार ने सब कुछ जानते हुए इस खतरे की अनदेखी की?"
In yet another post on the ongoing second wave of coronavirus in the country, Re:Set wrote about the culture of toxic positivity. "Influencers on social media have been complaining about people spreading too much negativity by amplifying SOS calls. If only positivity could fix this crisis, things would have been so much easier for Indians scrambling to get resources to keep loved ones alive."
Meanwhile, Culprit Tahalka did a comparative study of what the governments of Dr. Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi have done in view of petrol prices.
