अचानक रात में मोबाइल की घंटी बज उठी। मैं चौंक कर उठ गया। डर भी गया था। हमारी पीढ़ी के लिए रात में फोन का बजना यानी बुरी खबर का आना ही होता हैं। मन में यही बात बैठी हैं। हम लोग तो बड़े ही यह सब देख देख कर हुए। इन दिनों तो टेलीग्राम बंद हो गए अन्यथा दिनदहाड़े वे भी बड़े डराते थे। आज की पीढ़ी के लिए वर्क फ्रॉम होम और आउटसोर्सिंग के कारण 24 घंटे में कभी भी कॉल आए- वह उनके ऊपर वाले का कॉल होगा मगर उस ऊपर वाले से संबंधित नहीं होगा, इस कारण डराता नहीं। हां, कभी-कभी better.com के विशाल गर्ग जैसे लोग झटका दे जाते हैं। जो 900 लोग उनके कॉल पर मीटिंग में उनका चेहरा देख रहे थे, उन के लिए विशाल चेहरा 'मनहूस' जैसा सिद्ध हुआ। अब गर्ग साहब कोई अपने साहेब जैसे प्रभावशाली तो थे नहीं कि जब चाहे चौंकाने वाली घोषणाएं करके चले जाए और लोग सिर आंखों पर उनकी बात को ले लें। दो दिन के विरोध, खिंचाई के बाद बेचारे गर्ग साहब की छुट्टी हो गई।
